Hairtransplantation
Are you considering hairtransplantation? Men of every age can experience hair loss. While some men do nothing and live with the baldness, other men make different choices. If you are going bald your choices are varied but limited. You can take medication, you can get a weave or hair peace or you can have hairtransplantation.
Getting a weave or hair piece is a popular men experiencing hair loss. A hair piece can be taken on and of every day by the wearer. A weave cannot be taken off as it is woven into the persons natural hair. With a weave you do not have to worry about swimming or taking an intimate shower. Unlike the hair piece, the weave remains on your head and looks natural. Because of sun fading both the weave and the hair piece need to be replaced regularly to keep them looking new natural.
If a temporary solution is not right for you hairtransplantation may be the answer. Hairtransplantation is a surgical procedure performed by a doctor. It is usually performed in the doctor's office and you go home the same day. Hairtransplantation requires only a local anesthetic.
During the hairtransplantation procedure the doctor makes incisions to remove hair follicles from donor area of your head and inserts them into the receiving area. The hair follicles are called grafts. The grafts usually come from the hair at the back part of your head near your neck and are transplanted into thinning areas like the crown. Before you get the procedure you should grow your hair out to ½ to ¾ inches. This is because there will be stitches or staples where the donor graft incisions were and longer hair will cover them up.
Once the hairtransplantation is complete the doctor will send you home with directions for after care. You should follow the directions carefully. He also may prescribe a pain killer for your comfort.
